Work focused on cooperative learning about possible protections, building foundations for further agreement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-style-looks-like-heading wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>What We Worked On<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Early Actions Community Investment Agreement<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The CPBA Signatories finalized the Early Actions Community Investment Agreement in March, which led to its adoption in separate public meetings. Representatives of each Signatory are working together to advance the agreed upon scopes of work to potentially be ready for funding and execution in 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Future CPBA Planning (Next Stage of Agreement)<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Signatories continue to work towards the next stage of the CPBA. Conversations focused on building upon the Early Actions Community Investment Agreement framework while considering protections and community priorities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Spheros Environmental was selected as the independent expert dedicated to helping the signatories implement the CPBA Protections Roadmap (full roadmap report available at www.cpba-hermosa.org). The selection process involved a thorough review of proposals, with consensus reaching in favor of Spheros.
